Carolyn Holland graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in 1992, majoring in Zoology with a minor in science education. After obtaining a Master of Education Degree in 1994, she spent the next years working in education at the high school and college level. She enrolled at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1999. She was elected AOA during her junior year and received her MD in 2003. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Cincinnati in 2007.
Currently Dr. Holland is completing at Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. In her spare time as a fellow, she serves as an attending physician at University Hospital. Her professional interests include medical education, ob/gyn emergencies, quality assurance/research, and pediatrics.
Her personal interests include watching Gator sporting events, playing the clarinet and saxophone, and spending time with her family (including her 3 children under 4 years old!).
